With over a decade in the fitness industry, Mary has gained the experience and education that is imperative to helping you reach your goals. Since starting Awesome Fitness, she has expanded her education past the typical certifications most trainers pursue. At Bakersfield College, she received her AA in Kinesiology and an AA in Liberal Arts. She has since moved on to California State University, Bakersfield, pursuing her Bachelor's in Kinesiology with a focus in Physical Activity Leadership, with Minors in Psychology and Business Administration. She has stayed current in the field and understands that the science behind the human body grows and changes just as the human body does over its lifetime. The research is evolving and changing how we understand and interact with the environment around us and how we mentally and emotionally perceive and respond to motivation and physical activity. This gives her a special and specific understanding of how to physically and mentally prepare you to succeed in achieving your health and fitness goals.
